I love it! He and The Boy have so much in common. He also has little tantrums... so much fun.

BTW - what montessori books have you been reading that you like?

At one point it looks like Dorian's going to laugh, but then the eruption continues.

Steph - Our good family friend is the director of a Montessori school in Oakland called The Renaissance School (www.therenaissanceschool.org). She actually started the school, which has become one of the best schools in the area (more on this in a later blog). In addition, she has raised 6 kids of her own, all of whom are well-rounded, intelligent, amazing people. She recommended several books for us to read. I have only read "How to Raise an Amazing Child The Montessori Way" by Tim Seldin so far, but James has taken it upon himself to read the others too. I like the book because it is easy to read and there are beautiful pictures in it too - I'm very visual! After reading nursing textbooks all day, the last thing I want to do is sit down and read some heavy book on child development. Our friend also recommended "The Montessori Way: An Education for Life" by Tim Seldin and "Montessori: The Science Behind the Genius" by Angeline Lillard. I attended Montessori school until I was 11 years old and am a huge advocate of the Montessori methods. I turned out great! :D
