Father's Day Festival

The Crown Prince of California Bluegrass! Photos of Dorian will soon be appearing on the website and in the next issue of the Bluegrass Breakdown. Our family has a recessive bluegrass gene and it skipped a generation. Dorian was one of the dozen kids camped with us at the festival (the "bad teenagers" which includes Amanda and Kelly do not count). My favorite festival moment occurred backstage and was unfortunately not recorded on camera and that was when the amazing Rob Ickes (nine time winner of the International Bluegrass Music Association Dobro Player of the Year Award) played Rock A Bye Baby for Dorian and Dorian sang along with the melody.

those are some great pics of dori!! i'm sure he stole the show. the spikey hair with the coffee cup...amazing!! he looks like he's all strung out on caffeine. and the one of him in the grass is beautiful, truly breath taking. he is one gorgeous little boy. i can't wait to see him, he looks so much older already. lots of love!!
